I actually wrote this gag about 15 years ago, when I wanted to make a newspaper comic strip about some slackers who hung out in their local city park all day, napping under trees and gossiping.  Now that my protagonists are hanging out in a city park, napping under trees and gossiping, I get to use it!

There is an actual purpose to their hanging out in the park.  We’ll get to it, just as fast as I can write and draw!  So, you know, just wait two years and the purpose will be revealed.
