And a merry day after Christmas to you all!

I’m back on the schedule at the Stratosphere.  I’ve been doing 3-hour shifts a few days a week.  This fixes a few problems:

  1. Business has been bad, and we’re saving money by having fewer shifts.
  2. I’m re-invested in the day-to-day operations at the stand.
  3. Routine is healthy.
  4. I can produce Bordercrash distraction-free!

It’s counter intuitive that taking my webcomic to work means less distractions, but it’s true.  I can draw a caricature in five minutes, so even in a busy day at the caricature stand, I’m left with plenty of down time.  People are interested to see me draw, and what I want to draw is this.

Lettering is still a problem, but doing it by hand saves me time and eliminates a lot of the last step required to make comics.  Right now, any reduction in the workflow is a good reduction in the workflow.
