I know what you’re thinking: This lettering is terrible.  And it is.

But… I woke up to the fact that I was doing too much digitally.  I’m actually a lot faster when all that stuff that was being done on the computer – the panel borders, the word balloons, the lettering – is done by hand.  I mean, theoretically, that digital workflow can be very efficient, but what it really means to me is a block of time to do the art, then a block of time to do the post-production.  It’s hard enough setting aside time to do one of those.  So, now, it’s going to be much more organic.  I still correct black levels digitally, then re size and upload of course, but today was the first time ever that it’s taken me 5 minutes to do all that.

EDIT:  I fixed the lettering.  It was driving me crazy.

It’s the slow season at the Stratosphere.  I took some shifts up there and was able to complete this over four hours or so.
